In my last post I shared tips on how to step into the unknown courageously.
I’d like to continue along that same vein today.
I’m going to share a powerful and proven BRAIN BOOSTER for proactive, outside of the box, creative decision makers, like you.
Whether you’re responsible for managing a home and family, or business and team, as a decision maker you’ve probably come up against what social psychologists call “ego depletion” or decision-making fatigue (yes, this is an actual thing). Recent brain science shows that the mental work of making decisions day after day for your household, your business, your team, can lead to fatigue, and actually impair your will power and choice making over time.
The good news is that there is a way to counteract this. And I’m going to show you how.
In today’s video I’ll teach you a way to get freshly oxygenated blood to the brain in under 30 seconds – to enhance your clarity, focus and forward motion.
The technique is based on principles of Specialized Kinesiology and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
I can almost hear you thinking… Specialized what?
Well, I’m glad you asked ;-).
And I’ll get to that, I promise, just bear with me.
See, my mission is to help my community of clients and students to move onward and upward in their lives. And in my study of somatics over the last two decades, I’ve acquired a lot (and I do mean a lot) of tools to help folks achieve that end. In fact, I’ve helped hundreds of people recreate themselves, body, mind and spirit, using a unique system that I’ve developed based on principles of Specialized Kinesiology, Traditional Chinese Medicine and, best of all, a well-honed intuition.
And I am super excited to share my best learnings with you.
But first, let me tell you a little bit about Kinesiology and how it relates to Traditional Chinese Medicine (see, I keep my promises!).
Kinesiology is often described as the science of muscle testing. It was developed by Dr. George Goodheart in the 1960s as a way to use biofeedback to identify mental, physical, chemical and electrical imbalances within the central nervous system.
Goodheart, who was also a student of Eastern approaches to wellness, eventually extended his work to identify imbalances within the acupuncture meridian systems.
The meridians, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, are the pathways for electrical currents in the body. You may have heard of the term Ch’i. Well, those electrical currents can also be called Ch’i, or life force energy. And while Ch’i cannot be seen by the naked eye, it is felt and experienced. Because when it flows freely through the meridians, all life processes – indeed all aspects of life – function harmoniously. And when it does not flow, then illness and dysfunction occurs.
That’s the long answer.
The short answer is that kinesiology provides tools to identify and correct physical and mental imbalances. The premise being that once there is no interference (or blockage) to the flow of communication or energy in the mind and body, health takes care of itself.
That’s where today’s video comes in.
In it, I teach a non-invasive and highly effective technique to clear communication to the brain. To literally turn on your brain by activating an energy center that gets freshly oxygenated blood to the brain, and gets you set up to do your best thinking throughout the day.
The video is about 3 minutes long, and the technique takes 30 seconds.
It’s just that easy.
